Is onion+honey elixir good for hair regrowth..?

i have heard that an elixir made by 1/4cup onion juice+1 tbsp honey promotes hair growth,but u should massage this elixir daily before bed time to see the results,my concern here is this should i try out this remedyif it is fruitful because i m recently suffering from hair thiinning or provide information about other herbal remedies which are 100% effective,i m quite concerned,,needed hep badlyIs onion+honey elixir good for hair regrowth..?
