Puppy Hair Regrowth after Demodex Mange?

Our 8 month old Boxer is being treated for generalized (face %26amp; neck only) demodectic mange by oral ivermectin and antibiotics. The ';elephant skin'; phase is gone now, but she looks like she needs ';hair club for dogs';. How long before we can expect the hair to regrow. We're doing everything we can: Blue Buffalo dog food, suppliments, flaxseed oil, Vitamin E, etc. It's been 2 weeks since her first treatment which was a mitaban dip followed by the ivermectin.Puppy Hair Regrowth after Demodex Mange?
I have a female Dane that had red mange when I got her. My vet put her on the Ivermectin for 60 days. By the time we finished the treatment all the hair was back. (BTW, he also said to give both of my dogs Ivermectin, the same as we give our horses, every month to prevent worms.)Puppy Hair Regrowth after Demodex Mange?
Something that works wonders on dogs' bald spots is the hair cream for black peoples hair. You can buy it fairly cheap at a Dollar General. Just dab it on the bald spots and in no time you will see new hair growth.
There is a natural product called Nu-Stock that will help with hair regrowth....you should be able to find it at a Co-op or Feed store....for more info on the product and to see/read the testimonials, go to www.nustock.com it is a fabulous product we use in our rescue and it will even grow hair on scars.... The product has instructions for companion animals on one side of the jar and livestock on the other...has been around about 50 years I believe. It has many other uses and even claims to treat demodectic mange but I would stick with the regimen your vet has prescribed.....we have used it for ringworm and hair regrowth.
We fostered a dog with demodex mange (red mange), and treatment was the same you've done for your boxer. Her hair grew back about a month after we got it under control.

I say a month, but it grew in slow but steady. It was about a month before you couldn't tell it used to be bald there.
