Horse hair regrowth???
My appaloosa horse was out in the pasture today and got some pretty nasty looking bites.
There are three of them (right where the saddle sits!!!) about the size of baseballs. The skin is not pierced but they are bald, sore, and tender and he has pink skin.
Will the hair regrow normally? How long will it take? Will I be able to ride him, and if so how long should I wait?Horse hair regrowth???
It will take probably about a month to completely regrow to the length of the haircoat surrounding it. I would give him a couple days off to make sure his back isn't sore before riding him again. One thing that does help keep skin healthy and protected (especially in summer, but it works in winter too) is to smear Vaseline over the exposed skin. Be aware that it does catch a TON of dirt, so the surrounding hair will be dirt colored until you can give a bath (or it sheds out, since it's getting close to spring).
To help evade such nasty bites in the future, you could consider putting your horse out with just a fly sheet to protect him a little more, IF that is safe in your pasture and IF it's not possible to remove the bully horses.Horse hair regrowth???

Dying hair+regrowth?
im originally a redhead. i died it black, its now faded to a brownish colour and my regrowth is really bad. i currently have no job which means i cant get it fixed. how can i reduce it, or something. i also wanna go back to an orange colour. how do i go about that? you cant go over black, or so ive been told. thanksDying hair+regrowth?
Ok , you should buy a darker colour and dye it again untill you can afford to go to the hairdresser again. Use permenant dye,its not hard, get a friend to help you make sure you cover your hair evenly.The permanant colour will cover the others fully if you choose a dark shade. Dont use any semi permanant, that will just cause more dramas! To get it back to the shade of red you want the hairdresser will have to strip the colour out and use a filler then color it again.But using a dark permenant is the best thing i can think of in the mean time.Dying hair+regrowth?

Another thing would be to get some sun .. the sun will fade the black and lighten it up (try squeezing lemon juice on your hair before sunning)
Ok, this is a bad thing to do because Bleach can really mess up your hair, but if you bleached your hair, then you can go over that. A light reddish color may do =)//after the red wears out it may look more like orange (Happens to my friend)//
