I am dying the roots of my hair (regrowth roots) I am regular swimmer.?

I was wondering how long AFTER you dye your hair should I go swimming again? Its a blonde dye and its to touch up the roots. I am using herbal essences (used before). Whats the shortest time I can leave it before hitting the pool?I am dying the roots of my hair (regrowth roots) I am regular swimmer.?
I would wait a couple of days, so your cuticle isn't so open. Chlorine is blue, which when mixed with blonde (yellow) will turn your hair green. And chlorine is extremely hard on hair. You could also try K-Pak Chelating shampoo from Joico. It's made for swimmers.I am dying the roots of my hair (regrowth roots) I am regular swimmer.?
3 days to avoid the green tint from the chlorine or the colour washing out due to the chlorine in the water also.
At the least, three days. There are shampoos out there that can remove chlorine from your hair without messing with the color. Look into the Paul Mitchell ';color care'; line. When you re-do your hair, remember to only cover the new growth. The other hair has already been colored and you would just be damaging it. Hope you find what you're looking for, good luck.
I would say around 3 days. If you NEED to swim then use a swim cap or use this after wards on your hair:

should be alright if theres not a lot of chlorine in the pool, but you should buy special shampoo for swimmers that gets rid of the excess chlorine in your hair.
2 days if you want to be risky

3 days if you want to stay safe

bottom line: aim for 2.5
