I have a 10 year old Himmy and his hair has recently grown in sparse after his haircut. He is overweight and has bad dandruff. Would these be signs that he has hypothyroidism? My vet thinks it's extremely rare but he has all the classic symptoms.10 yr old Himilayan with sparse hair regrowth?
Confusing question. Why are you asking us this when it's something your vet can diagnose? And why did you give this poor cat a haircut? If you don't want to deal with the regular grooming a longhaired cat requires you shouldn't have one. It's cruel to shave them down.
